Anna Marie Jones

Hi there, I’m Anna Marie (she/her,licensed professional counselor and founder of AMJ Therapy. 

I offer client-centered and personalized psychotherapy for those living in the Denver Metro area and all across Colorado.

I am passionate about helping adults rediscover their sense of identity and confidence after trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I also enjoy helping those with neurodivergence lead an empowered and authentic life.

I started my career as a positive peer mentor for adults with developmental disabilities and as a behavioral therapist for children with autism. After earning my BA in Psychology at UCCS and my MA in counseling at The University of San Diego, I provided therapy for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. I have continued that work as a licensed therapist and student supervisor in a community mental health setting in Aurora, treating adults with various mental health diagnoses. I truly love this work. Seeing people become more fulfilled, confident, and self-compassionate through therapy has been the most rewarding experience.

I know first-hand how life-changing therapy can be. My hope is to help others on their own unique paths to healing.

Outside of therapy sessions, I enjoy yoga, walking my dog, napping, cooking, hockey, reading, and playing video games.
